Artisanal Food and Pea Soy Sauce

Outside Gudmundsätra Farm flows the crystal-clear mountain water of the Västerdalälven, Sweden’s third-longest river, well-known for its rich fishing waters and cultural-historical value for the local population. In ancient Swedish, it was also called Liuran, a word that means “light and clear.” Here lives and works Fredrik Hedlund. With a burning passion for artisanal food and locally produced raw materials, he created the unique pea soy sauce product. The pea soy sauce from Liura is a small-scale production of Swedish products where raw materials from our Swedish lands meet traditional techniques worldwide. Fredrik is an Olympic Champion in Cooking with the national culinary team. He has participated and competed in the Swedish national culinary team for eight consecutive years and, together with other Swedish chefs, won the overall victory and all categories at the Culinary Olympics in Germany in 2012. The soy sauce is sold in stores, online, and through wholesalers.
