Bryn Gårdsmejeri
Products from goat
At the foot of Skardfjellet, north of Trysil, you will find Bryn Farm Dairy, where Eline and her family produce goat cheese. The farm is home to 90 goats graze all summer on the herbs, juniper, grass, and mountain flowers provided by the mountains and forests. This diet imparts a beautiful flavor to the cheeses. The farm has a history dating back to 1935 and has always had goats. When the dairy was completed in 2003, it was Norway’s first farm dairy for goat milk. The milk is processed into a locally sourced culinary treasure through their traditional and cultural craftsmanship. This has earned the farm gold, silver, and bronze in the Norwegian Farm Cheese Championships.
They also produce juicy, mild, tender goat meat and sausage. The farm dairy is marked with a quality label based on craftsmanship, tradition, and local raw materials. Their cheeses are sold in many restaurants and shops throughout Norway and can be ordered via their website for home delivery.
