Bakery, Café, and Farm Shop

By the shore of the Västerdalsälvens strand in Transtrand, south of Sälen, you will find Anna and her bakery, outdoor café, and farm shop, open during spring, summer, and autumn. Here, artisanal bread is baked in the wood-fired oven of the old bakery cottage. The focus is primarily on various types of flatbread, but other types of bread, buns, and cookies are also baked. The organic flour is mainly sourced from smaller mills like Limbacka Kvarn and Saltå Kvarn. The shop’s shelves also feature local food products, crafts, jewelry, homemade cloudberry jam, and honey from the farm’s bees. Anna also offers courses in baking flatbread, sharing her unique techniques. Anna delivers on a small scale to restaurants in the Sälen area.
